This kind of recumbent bike seat consists of several layers. The seat is proof, comfortable and very popular because of that. Also, it holds shape under load and fits almost every model of recumbent bikes and trikes . Even more, you can install it in velomobiles (streamliners).

Recumbent seats of the current model are widely used in REHABILITATION PURPOSES. 
The anatomic shape of a seat perfectly fits riders with spinal, coccyx diseases or any other back issues; people after back surgery, etc. Namely because of this feature the seat became the choice of a rather big number of buyers. This seat gives a rider an impressive feeling of comfort that is one of the most important factors for long distances. As a result, anyone can get much wider experience while riding a human powered vehicle.

This seat is probably the most popular item among all PARTS FOR RECUMBENTS we produce.
First of all, we had designed special molding forms to manufacture volumetric recumbent bike seats. And of course we produce our anatomic shape recumbent bike seats in full accordance with proven and well tested TECHNOLOGY. We had made three matrices of different sizes to meet the needs of wider customer range. Furthermore, our seats come with adjustable multi-leaf headrests (similar for all sizes). The production method is hand molding, which allows to get the best possible results. We use only high-quality glass-reinforced polyester. Each layer of a seat we lay down by hand and then impregnate it individually with polyester resin, that is much more safer then epoxide. This is the way we reach an excellent stacking density.

    Seat of any size (S, M, L) has the same 32 cm / 12,6 inches width (at the widest place). Basic material for seats is glass-reinforced polyester (GRP). GRP is rather proof and wear resistant. Loaded places and areas for mounting are reinforced with additional layers. Also we recommend to attach the seat in two points with 4 M6 bolts between stiffening ribs!!!

    Seat size depends on rider overall height:

    S: 160-173 cm / 5' 3"- 5' 8"
    M: 170-180 cm / 5' 7" - 5' 11"
    L: 175-190 cm / 5' 9" - 6' 3"
    Headrest: 0,14kg / 0,3 Lb

    Of course, all recumbent seat sizes are accepted conditionally due to headrest adjustment and seat pad thickness. Hence, this gives us another important possibility of wider size customization while manufacturing. As a result, we recommend: if you like a soft seat mat – order bigger size!

    ATTENTION!!!

    In case your bike / trike goes with a plastic seat (not a metal frame with a mesh in between), that means our seat can fit. Same time, there should be original fastening from original seat of bike / trike (which, for example, could be taken from old or broken seat ). 

    The fastening can be attached to a seat, but first should be drilled holes in a seat in right places. 

    If the original seat of bike / trike is represented by a mesh on metal frame (such a kind of seat can also be the part of trike's frame), a special bracket (adapter) for our seat is required. These adapters are not really presented on the market today, that means it might be created by yourself. And this is the real state of things. All the things you do on your own risk. 

    Our dept as a supplier is to tell the truth. 
    We cannot guarantee 100% compatibility. 

    Same time, the current model of seat has been already tested with many bikes as same as with trikes. And that's why we call it universal seat for recumbents. So first of all we recommend to provide us with photos, after which we can give any detailed answer.
